After my trip to Ricketts Glen last week I am in love with woodland ground covers: lichens, moss and ferns, so when I walked by Meadowsweet Vintage on Main St. in Manayunk today, I had to check out their groundcover collection. They had a great selection of boxes and old drawers to choose from, and ferns, mosses, sedums and salvias to plant in them. This one will need a shady spot, so not technically a "window" box, more of a shadowbox :)
